In this week we focused on landscape drawing, we looked at many different landscapes and also the different perspectives that can be seen in each landscape. This landscape sketch is a urban landscape drawing of my back garden. I chose to use a portrait perspective to pick up all the detail that was included in this small section of my garden.
I used close measurements to get all the aspects of this sketch almost exactly like the real thing, the sloping lines to the side of the sketch gives the drawing an illusion of a third dimension. The shading in this sketch helps to determine between the darker materials in the sketch and also the soil.
