In this week we focused on the composition of our prospective drawings, these sketches shows the different compositions found in the Richmond building on the university campus. The first sketch was of the lift found in the Richmond buildings eating area, this sketch shows great depth because it is easy to see that it is three dimensional, and also the tall vertical lines make the lift look tall and rigid.
The second sketch shows the stairs leading up to the second level of the Richmond building eating area, this sketch has good placement of of objects and also a good spacing between them because none of the objects are kissing. A 3D effect is given to this sketch by the placement of the horizontal lines which form the wall to the right of the sketch.
