Final Piece - Landscape Draw

This is my final piece for the landscape drawing module, this is a 45 minute sketch of my back garden I choose to draw in a portrait perspective because it offered a lot more dimension and detail to the sketch. I mainly focused on detail and shading, the different shading techniques I used help to determine between the lighter and darker areas of this sketch and also the different materials that are involved in this sketch.

I paid a attention to both for-ground and back-ground elements in this sketch making sure that objects further back were smaller and less detailed and the objects close to me were bigger and more detailed. I also focused greatly on the proportions of the sketch making sure that the plans buildings and other aspects were in proportion to the rest of the scene.
