This is my Final piece for the still life module, it is a still life sketch of a Jack Daniel's bottle on a wooden table with a textured mat under it and a light shone onto the table. In the this sketch I have focused on a lot of detail, shadows, shading, textures, proportion and reflection. This sketch took me an hour and thirty minutes to do.
As you can see the texture of the table is very detailed and it is possible to see the gains in the wood, it has also been shaded to see the darker and light pieces of wood and where the shadow falls. The mat on which the bottle sits on has been textured and also the lines which decorate the mat have been carefully angled to create a realistic effect. The bottle has lots of very small detail on it and also shading on how the light has hit the bottle and the show it has created on the table.
