In week two we focused on perspective, this drawing is of the back of the Horton building on the university campus. This image shows a two point perspective, the first perspective being the flat window side of the building which has a vanishing point that stretches across the page to the right. These horzontal lines are angular and create the front face of the buliding.
The second perspetive is the side of the building which is almost at a right angle from the face of the building, this creates the third dimension in my drawing and creates the illusion of it being 3D image on a 2D page. The vertical lines are also angular and make the building look very tall, the use of shading down the side of the my building creates the effect of sunlight shining on to it.
